Our cakes are made from scratch with the finest ingredients to ensure they not only look amazing but also taste amazing; no one deserves dry cake on their special day!

Sugar Monkey Cakery is located in Zetland, a southern suburb of Sydney.  We deliver to Sydney suburbs and selected surrounding areas.

We have used Sugar Monkey Cakery many times and Effie’s cakes are the best tasting in town! Her flavours and finishing touches are 10/10. It is a smooth and easy process when ordering and Effie has always been able to accomodate our wishes. Most recently she made a three tier cake for our wedding, which was magnificent. The guests commented on how beautiful the cake looked and how delicious it was. She even was able to deliver it two hours out of Sydney! Can’t recommend enough.

I have been an admirer of Sugar Monkey Cakery’s edible masterpieces for many years. So, when the time came around for my wedding, this was one decision I didn’t have to make! Effie’s cakes are both delicious and spectacular, and she worked closely with me to capture the exact vision that I had. Effie is also highly organised and well-experienced working with events staff and venues, which meant we didn’t have to worry about anything on the day of the wedding. We received so many compliments about the cake - I just wish I could eat it all over again!

Thank you for doing such a great job on our wedding cake! It looked and tasted great! The wedding was amazing. We even cut your cake ceremoniously with a sword!

We took some on our honeymoon and have been enjoying what we have left ever since. It has been so delicious.
